Here we are on the first day of Fall 2021, where has the summer gone?… but it has left us with wonderful garden produce.
For those of you who can help in the harvest and share in our abundance, we have:
- Salsa ingredients; Roma tomatoes, peppers, and jalapenos for those who enjoy a bit of spice in their food.
- We have gorgeous heirloom tomatoes that are delicious as a sandwich sliced extra, extra thick on whole wheat bread with sharp cheddar cheese, mayo, and zucchini sweet relish. (eat this one over the sink or outside in our beautiful fall weather.
- And for those of you who like to be a bit exquisite… there is an abundance of eggplant.
- We have both Russet and Red potatoes and they are just waiting for you to be dug.
- Tomatoes and Peppers are at the “top of their crop”.
- The outstanding Corn and Bean harvest is done for the season and waiting for you to plant them again next season.
